AKA International Day of Prayer

Prayer Connection Activity:

To prepare for an enriching day of prayer celebration select the best individual option for you.

• make paper chain (10 links)
• make a mini prayer journal (10 sheets of paper stapled together)
• blank graph (10 blank squares/spaces on one page)

There may be other options, so be creative and select what works best for you. The object of the prayer connection activity is to begin the prayer journey 10 days (August 12, 2021) before our International Day of Prayer celebration on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at 6:45pm.

Each participant should date the paper link, page in their journal or the blank space in their graph. Write what your prayer request is on one paper link, page, or square/space for each day.  You can connect your prayer links to make a paper chain for the ten days of prayer. Your journal or graph can contain pictures or be decorated to show personal thoughts, etc. This is your opportunity to express your prayers in a way that is personal for you. These ten days of prayer will allow you to spend personal, individual time with God to enhance your relationship with Him by setting aside a time each day to prepare for the day of celebration.  We will all begin our PRAYER JOURNEY together, have personal time for reflection, and pray collectively on the International Day of Prayer.
